Clients and partners: Centre for Cultural Value, The Audience Agency, Creative Industries Policy and Evidence Centre (PEC), Research England and the Arts and Humanities Research Council

Culture Commons is providing long term policy development, public affairs and advocacy support through a policy partnership with the Centre for Cultural Value, funded by Research England and Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).
We are primarily focussed on the Centre's major study into the impact of Covid-19 on the UK's cultural sector, resulting in the 'Culture in Crisis' report, co-authored by Culture Commons Director, Trevor MacFarlane. We believe this is the largest and most comprehensive study of its kind anywhere in the world.
Culture Commons have developed a suite of 12 targeted policy recommendations based on research findings, are providing rolling policy and political analysis, producing bespoke policy briefings for external stakeholders, including regular meetings with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and UK Government Ministers, and organising high level roundtables, including an event in the House of Lords in May 2022.
In 2022, Culture Commons will be supporting the Centre to set strategic policy objectives for its wider programme throughout 2022.
