We bring the creative, cultural and research sectors together to design policy and influence decision makers.

We work with our clients and partners in strategic ways to seize the moment and drive the change they want to see in the world.

We deploy our experience in local, national and international government, public relations, campaign strategy, stakeholder management, politics, parliamentary procedure and policy development for maximum impact.

Based in London and Manchester, we operate a cross-subsidy and not-for-profit model which means we're able to support grassroots and smaller creative and cultural organisations and ensure their voices are heard in policy dialogues.

We are kindly supported with grant funding from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, Arts Council England, Arts and Humanities Research Council, Federation of Entertainment Unions and Research England.

Are you ready to make the change you want to see in the world? We'll take time to understand your existing work, as well as your needs and primary objectives.

4.png

Do you know who your key stakeholders are? We'll identify and connect you with decision makers, existing campaigns, and policy development initiatives to enhance your impact.

5.png

Do you know what decision makers are up to? We'll provide you with the most up to date policy and political analysis and research to inform your programmes and help shape your public relations approach.

6.png

Do you know how to engage the right audiences? We'll deploy our in-house campaign and communications expertise to send out the right messages, to the right people, at the right time.

Want to be in the room with the decision makers? We can organise roundtables, panels, recorded media screenings and conferences, deploying decades of hands-on production experience to get decision makers to the table.

How can your work change policy? We'll use our policy, parliamentary and political experience to translate your work into concrete policy recommendations that strike a chord with elected politicians and officials.

Culture Commons have affected a step change in the traction that our research is getting with key policy stakeholders. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Professor Ben Walmsley - Director of Centre for Cultural Value

I look forward to working with other metro mayors and groups like Culture Commons to ensure that London’s creative industries is even more accessible, rich and vibrant after the pandemic than it was before.

Sadiq Khan - Mayor of London

We've wanted to have more influence on policy making for years. Culture Commons opened that door. We've now put across our views to the Home Office and had a meaningful response and that's just major for us.
